- Airport Security preparation and practices
- Aircraft and airspace security issues
- Homeland Security Presidential Directive 7 which establishes a national policy for Federal departments and agencies to identify and prioritize critical infrastructure and to protect them from terrorist attacks. (HSPD – 7)
- Homeland Security Presidential Directive 16 which established overarching national strategy for aviation security. (HSPD – 16)
- Overview of intermodal trucking issues
- Introduction to rail security
- Transportation sector risk reviews
- Private and public sector roles and responsibilities
- Introduction to Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
- Issues surrounding the Container Security Initiative (CSI)
